  • Sick and Hospitalized – Call your Pastor, The Rev. Jesse Hawkins. I always see parishioners who are hospitalized.
  • Death – Call your pastor.
  • Meeting Space Requests – Please contact the office, or download a copy of the Meeting Room Request Form.
  • Weddings – Call your Pastor.
  • Sick and Shut-In; Need Communion – Please contact the office.

Tuesday, March 19, 2019 - 5:30 p.m. - 8 p.m. - The DuPage County Branch, NAACP Education Committee invites you to participate in - A Meet and Greet (5:30-6 p.m.) and Fireside Chat (6-8 p.m). There will be a panel discussion which will include the School Board Candidates for Naperville District #203, Indian Prairie School District #204, West Aurora School District #129, Oswego School District #308 and Alderman At-Large candidates. The event is scheduled to convene at Cathedral of Grace | St. John.

Women’s Ministry and Men’s Ministry - Our next fellowship meeting, and Bible Study will be held on Saturday, March 23rd at 9:00 am.

Dance in the name of love, life and health. The Health Ministry presents Saturday Line Dance Class taught by Belynda Head of Lines in Motion. Next classes March 23 and March 30 at 11am.

The Village Youth Ministry invites all middle/high school students and parents to root on the Chicago Bulls as they take on the Toronto Raptors! Youth are encouraged to invite friends.

The Chicago Chapter of the National African American Insurance Association (NAAIA) is now accepting applications for their 13th annual Scholarship Award Competition. All submissions must be postmarked on or before 3/15/2019. Copies of the applications and criteria are available in the Church office or Students can apply online at

The American Association of Blacks in Energy (AABE) is a professional association composed of African Americans in the energy industry. Through its scholarship program, the Association seeks to help increase the number of African Americans, Hispanics and Native Americans (underrepresented minorities) in energy related fields. The Chicago Metropolitan Chapter will be awarding up to 10 scholarships of $1500 each for winning students! Gobble Doggs is proud to announce its 2019 Gobble Doggs Scholarship. At least one scholarship will be awarded to an African-American graduating high school senior, that will assist a student in their educational and/or entrepreneurial goals. The scholarship can be used for educational support, advancing your existing business or developing a business concept. Copies of the application and criteria are available in the office.

The Aurora Actionaires Foundation, Inc. is pleased to sponsor eight students to attend the 10-day residential IMSA PROMISE Summer Enrichment for Academics in Mathematics and Science(SEAMS) Experience. This is open to Students that will complete their 8th grade year in May or June. AALR is pleased to offer 2 scholarships every year to graduating seniors. They like to reward graduating seniors who show a potential for success in academics, leadership, and service to others. You can download the application along with the scholarship criteria on their website, The deadline for application is May 1, 2019. Interviews will be held in June and the scholarship will be awarded in July.
