Welcome to St. John A.M.E Church. It is with great excitement and Christian love that we embrace you as you either embark on or continue your Christian journey with us here at St. John. A Christian's life is a journey, a journey where each of us, as believers experience continual growth. As we journey through our New Members Discipleship class, we will focus on the Word of God, prayer, witnessing and fellowship.

Discipleship is an open expression of our love for God and our commitment to follow Jesus Christ examples of love and commitment to serve. I encourage each of you to be passionate about your faith, to reflect on where God has brought you, and to take the next steps in your spiritual journey. Join me and your fellow sisters and brothers in Christ as the power of our extraordinary God guides us, as ordinary people on the commitment path of discipleship.

The new members discipleship class focuses on planting seeds of faith, watering existing seeds of faith, and nurturing the spirit of study, prayer, witnessing and fellowship.
