As an official representative of St. John A.M.E. Church and of Jesus Christ, the ushers have an enormous obligation in helping to lead the people into readiness for Learning, Worshipping and Evangelism. The ushers primary purpose is to keep perfect order in and around the Church at all time during services.

Mission

Our mission is to meet the worshippers with a pleasant smile, a warm welcome and direct them to their seats. Our goal is to assist the Pastor to make each and every service a success.

Come and Join Us

We are always looking for new members to join the Usher Board. If you are interested in joining the Usher Board, please join us on the 2nd Wednesday of every month from 7:00 to 7:30 pm. Usher training is also held on the 2nd Wednesday of every month from 7:30 to 8:00 pm.
